The Rod Shop '71 Charger
We've been in a patriotic-paint mood and noticed that no one did it better-or at least more frequently and fluently-than Ohio's Rod Shop drag-team car of the '60s and '70s. This one's the '71 Charger J/SA car driven by Dave Boertman and seen at the '71 NHRA U.S. Nationals (notice he's not wearing a helmet). Boertman won the Nats in 1970 and again in 1976, and while he did not win the Nats in 1971, he did take the Stock championship that year. The Rod Shop car is helping us grow to like our clapped-out '72 Charger even more.
