5. Changing the fuel filter on a Quadrajet four-barrel carburetor is simple. Loosen the OEM steel fuel line and pull it out of the way. Then loosen and remove the fitting that holds the filter inside the carb. The old filter simply pulls out; however, don't lose the spring that holds pressure on the filter.
